President Donald Trump, who initated both the Iran War in late February and the ceasefire phase it entered three months ago, now seems determined to close this file and move on, provided the terms of the deal he is negotiating with the Islamic Republic Regime can pass as satisfactory.
Within this framework, he is publicly imposing his will on his wartime partner and ally, Israel, as was evident earlier this week when he intervened to stop the Iranian-Israeli exchange of missile and air strikes. Does it follow that a new trilateral relationship is emerging from this war?
