As we are about to embark on a short summer broadcast-break, it seems like a good time to look around - obviously with Jerusalem as the center of our universe - for some regional stock-taking. Midway through 2021, with new leaders elected in relevant capitals such as Washington, Tehran and Jerusalem – amid looming prospects of the revival of the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran, which seemingly (in tandem) escalates tensions on the ground in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen – among other relevant sectors of interest.
