As the Israel-Hamas war leaves behind its first month, and the effective missile defense positioned by the Israel Air Force manages to minimize civilian casualties within Israel’s borders, world attention is disproportionately focused on the plight of Palestinians caught in the crossfire in Gaza. It is convenient for outsiders to put aside the horrendous massacre and mass abduction which occurred on October 7. But they must not be filed away, as there are hundreds of hostages of all ages being cruelly held by Hamas and others in Gaza, and victims of the Hamas attack on that savage Sabbath are in the slow process of recovering from their physical and mental wounds.
