The massacre perpetrated by the Iran-backed Hamas murderers on October 7 and the war that ensued has effectively eclipsed what, up to several weeks ago, seemed to be the issue of most concern regarding the Islamic Republic’s behaviour … its climb, slowly but surely, towards a nuclear arsenal.
The world appears resigned to the inevitability that a dash towards the first batch of Iranian nuclear weapons would either be tolerated, or stopped, by an Israeli military strike. In the latest chapter in this story, the Vienna-based IAEA’s Board of Governors has once again feebly indicated its displeasure with Iran’s evasive actions, but stopped short of deciding to do anything about it.
Could we be approaching a point where the Gaza war will be seen as the lesser evil, in contrast to Iran’s nuclear ambitions? To help us find our way through this maze we are joined by:
