Is an all-out Regional War Inevitable? - Israel at War. Israeli and Western clashes with Iran’s proxies have persisted for nearly four months now. The Hamas attack on October 7 of last year launched a series of conflagrations on the Lebanese border with Israel, in the Red Sea and even in Iraq.
Besides the Gaza war, there have been exchanges of various kinds, including missiles, drones, and fighter planes. There appears to be an explosive potential for a more widespread conflict, an all-out regional war pitting the Iran-based axis against the forces of moderation. Can it be contained? And what would trigger the detonation?
With us to analyze this potential powderkeg are:
- Host: Jonathan Hessen
- Editor at Large: Amir Oren: Host of Watchmen Talk and Powers in Play
- Col. (Ret.) Joel Rayburn: former Senior Director at the National Security Council in Washington and Special Envoy for Syria, and Founding Director of the American Center for Levant Studies
- Prof. Uri Rosenthal: former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands
The program offers the viewer deeper understanding about current events in Israel. The topics vary from domestic and foreign policy to social changes, archaelogy and religion.
The program is hosted by TV7 Israel News anchor Jonathan Hessen.
