The Middle East in the winter of 2024 is testimony to the old mix of change and continuity. Many of the actors and factors were around a year ago and some even much earlier, but now there are also some new elements.
We have the Gaza War, the Hezbollah-Israel Campaign, the Houthi and Pro-Iranian Iraqi Militias’ challenges, and the American Counter-Offensives in Yemen, Iraq and Syria. So, how do these affect the geo-political map of the region, right now, and what could the scenarios likely be to either take it forward – or even backward? To help us analyze this, we are joined by:
- Host : Jonathan Hessen
- Editor at Large : Amir Oren : Host of Watchmen Talk and Powers in Play
- Prof. Uri Rosenthal : former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands
- BG (Res.) Yossi Kuperwasser : Project Director on Middle East Developments, Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs
