Successive American administrations have pledged to spare no effort in convincing Tehran that if diplomacy and pressures fail, the Iranian nuclear infrastructure will suffer a devastating military blow. Israel is clearly more sceptical - preferring destruction over deals - but President Trump has decided to give negotiations a chance.
