With Donald Trump’s resounding election victory, the Iranian regime is facing a pressing dilemma as it prepares for the handover from the Biden administration. Trump abrogated the JCPOA and ordered the killing of Qassam Soleimani, but is now excluding from his foreign relations and national security team the mastermind of maximum pressure, Mike Pompeo.

So while Iran has not relented in its belligerent posture, from Yemen to Iraq and through Hezbollah and Hamas, it must now count the costs should it breach any of the incoming administration’s red lines. So what are the likely Iranian courses of action? Joining us for the analysis:
