Israel at War. Whether by its own calculus, or due to strict instructions by Iran - or even both - Hezbollah have been cautious since October 8 to conduct brinkmanship by fire. The Lebanese Shiite militia, considered a ‘terror army’ by Israel, has limited its launches of missiles and rockets to the Upper Galilee district, signaling that it has no appetite for a full-scale, cross-border war which would include ground incursions.
Can this approach last much longer, while Israel hits back harder and deeper and almost 100 000 Galilee residents press Jerusalem to push out the Hezbollah threatening presence in order that they may once again return to their homes safe and secure? Joining us for the discussion we have:
