Israel’s Intelligence Assessment for 2023

All intelligence assessments must be taken with a spoonful of salt. Who, in either Israel or abroad, could have predicted a year ago that at the end of 2022 a new government would emerge in Jerusalem with an unprecedented make-up, personally and functionally. That said, the Israeli intelligence community has fulfilled its task of giving the cabinet, the appropriate Knesset committee ant the military command, its best estimate as to the priority list of threats dacing the Jewish State as it welcomes 2023.

To analyse this assessment and its implications we are joined from central Israel by Dr. Uzi Arad, Former Israeli National Security Advisor and Mossad Division Chief Also joining us from another location in central Israel are Col. (Ret.) Dr. Eran Lerman, Co-host TV7 Middle East Review, Powers-in-Play Panelist, JISS VP and Editor in Chief of the Jerusalem Strategic Tribune, and Col. (Res.) Reuven Ben-Shalom, TV7 Powers-in-Play Panelist, Cross-Cultural Strategist and Associate at ICT, Reichman University. Host Amir Oren.
