In recent years, the various crises in the Middle East have produced several multi-point plans. Most if not all of them never even got off the ground. The latest to be put in this precarious position is the 15-Point Plan for Gaza, whose main features are Hamas disarmament, IDF deployment and a new technocratic council discharging the duties of a governmental authority.
Initially, the Plan, blessed by President Trump and his Board of Peace, was welcomed with reservations and requests for modifications, but earlier this week Prime Minister Netanyahu rejected it outright. So is it dead in the water, somewhere off the Gaza coast, or could it still be rescued and sail back into safe harbour?
