According to conventional wisdom, Washington is a one-crisis city, unable to effectively handle two major problems simultaneously. Perhaps this applies to the ongoing Iranian Nuclear effort, when the Biden administration is almost totally focused on the Russia-Ukraine crisis. The Vienna talks have been dragging on with no reported breakthrough, and the Iranians are slowly but systematically enriching Uranium to the fairly high level of 60 percent. If there is any overlap between the Ukraine crisis and the Iran negotiations, it has to do with news of an offer made by Washington via Moscow, and outright rejected by Tehran, regarding an intermediate agreement. So where are the parties to the Vienna talks headed?
