The Celebrated, Beloved Jerusalem

We will meet young partygoers on Jerusalem Day, and we will also visit the Israeli Parliament Building on the day of commemoration of the reunification of the city.

Members of Parliament convene in a special session at the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament Building, to mark Jerusalem Day on May 28, 2014. We will hear Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s thoughts about Jerusalem. Journalist Nadav Shragai sheds light on the meaning of Jerusalem Day as well as on the attitudes of world leaders toward the capital of Israel. We will follow young people’s joyous progressing through the Muslim Quarter to dance at the Western Wall.
