As intensified fighting around Syria’s northern town of Aleppo brought about an end to a cessation of hostilities, brokered by Moscow and Washington; International players are seeking ways to salvage the already eradicated ceasefire, which was initially believed to be a spark of light at the end of a long and dark tunnel. Now that the foundation to UN brokered talks are on the verge of collapse, senior diplomats are calling to reevaluate the situation and find ways to keep the momentum for the political process ongoing.
