Following eleven-days of combat between the Islamist organizations in the Gaza Strip and Israel, a military operation dubbed by the IDF ‘Guardian of the Walls’, has come to an end exactly a week and a half from today. The cessation of hostilities, whether triggered by a nudge from the Biden Administration or by the exhaustion of the IDF’s prioritized targets-bank, has seemingly sparked international desires to see the long-stalled political process between Israel and the Palestinian Authority revived.
