As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
With the vote count in Israel’s Parliamentary elections formally over and published in the Official Gazette, the focus has shifted to the President’s House here in the Nation’s Capital, where Reuven Rivlin, due to retire in three months, consults with the thirteen parties elected to the incoming Knesset, Hebrew for Parliament, in order to settle on a nominee able to form a new government. Several candidates are jockeying for power, and if they all fail the country will be subjected to a fifth election campaign in a little over two years.
Guests: Former Knesset member Dov Lipman, Secretary General of the Confederation of United Zionists. Also joining us from the southern city of Beersheba: Dr. Yonatan Freeman, Political Scientist at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Amir Oren, TV7 Analysts and Host of Watchmen Talk.
