Israel’s challenges emanating from the Lebanese sector

For a decade and half, now, the conventional wisdom has been that following the clash with Hezbollah in summer 2006, Israel’s border with Lebanon was kept quiet due to the deterrence gained by the heavy blows inflicted by the IDF. This assessment was brought into question by a sudden terror act probably conceived in Beirut and executed through the border fence. Israel is now concerned that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, 41 years at the helm of the Lebanese Iranian-proxy, is spoiling for a new fight. Is it so, and what does it have to do with the chaotic domestic situation in Lebanon and the political and societal crisis in Israel?

Guests Lt. Col. (res) Sarit Zehavi President and founder of Alma Research & Education Center, Col. (Res.) Reuven Ben-Shalom, TV7 Powers-in-Play Panelist, Cross-Cultural Strategist and Associate at ICT, Reichman University, and Amir Oren.
