Some seven weeks have elapsed since the second general election in Israel this year. Despite outgoing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s failed attempt to form a new government in Jerusalem, his chief rival former IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz does not seem any closer to fulfill the appointed task.
