A new Iraqi government is taking shape in Baghdad following both presidential and parliamentary elections – but the two forces fighting for influence over the country's policy are not indigenous to Iraq. The United States and Iran appear to be on a collision course in this important Arab nation, which borders Iran, Syria, Jordan and Turkey.
