Jerusalem’s holiest site, the Temple Mount, known to Muslims as Haram al-Sharif, has been a point of sensitivity for many centuries, due to its historic importance to monotheistic religions, primarily Judaism and Islam.

The holy-compound, which according to religion outlines men’s connection to God, has turned into a flash-point of violence and division that obstructs the basic international law: freedom of worship.To discuss the recent escalation, defined by many as sparks of an ensuing religious war;
