Archeology and the Bible

Archaeologists have recently found more evidence about the historical validity of Biblical texts. We will learn more about these discoveries in the valley of Elah, which is of David and Goliath.

Professor of Archaeology, Yosef Garfinkel, has made several excavations in the ancient city of Sha'araim. We will also visit Tel Tzafit National Park, where the ruins of an ancient Philistine city, Gath, lay. We met two other
archaeologists, Amihai Mazar and Yitzhak Meitlis, who discuss the relationship between the Bible and archaeology of both the present and the past.
