A Lesbian Couple Sued Yad Hashmona

In September 2012, the District Court of Jerusalem ruled, that the Messianic guest house of Yad Hashmona would have to pay 12 000 euros in damages and the trial expenses.

This happened because Yad Hashmona refused to organize Lesbian wedding on their premises. We will discuss the causes and results of this case.

Yad Hashmona is a small community near Jerusalem founded by Finnish believers in 1971. Today most of its residents are Messianic Jews, Jews that believe in Jesus. The guesthouse of the village wants to observe Biblical principles in their activities.
