Dr. Rafael Bardaji, Spain’s Fmr National Security Advisor

Rafael Luis Bardaji Looez is one of Spain’s foremost strategic thinkers and a former National Security Advisor. Indeed, he had a major role in setting up the National Security mechanism supporting the Prime Minister and integrating the staff work of the various military, diplomatic and intelligence agencies. A devoted friend of Israel, Bardaji studied at Harvard and MIT, following his education in Spain, and has a robust network of colleagues and connections from Washington through NATO Hq to Jerusalem. As he smilingly admits in this conversation, he is by training a Political Scientist, but also with an element of a political animal.
