In about one month’s time, the Israeli government would be able to start the process of extending its sovereignty to parts of the territories east of its border and west of the Jordan river. This move should be coordinated with the U.S. administration and has already raised strong objections by the Jordanian and Palestinian leaderships as well as by domestic critics.
