Iran's Axis of Resistance

Will US Foreign Policy Prevail? When Supreme Leader Khamenei and his Islamic Republic subordinates consider their options, they probably see a weakened so-called Axis of Resistance. Syria is out, Hezbollah was badly beaten and the Houthis must surely understand that their next fight with Israel will find them facing a much stronger IDF than the one formerly preoccupied with Gaza. However, the most important factor to consider here is President Trump’s policy on the Middle East; more specifically on the Arab Peninsula, where Iran now faces a stark choice : either to join the moderates, or to persist in its militancy and thereby absorb the inevitable blows coming its way from Israel and the US.
