Can Lebanon prevail vs Hezbollah refusal to disarm?

In the Arab world, celebrations are sometimes marked by gunfire, however, this first anniversary of the Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire would appear to not be a very happy one as tensions run high and devastating action is still the order of the day.

On Sunday, the Israel Air Force struck and killed Haytham Ali Tabatabay, having emerged as Hezbollah’s Senior Commander following the serial demise of a number of his superiors. He was considered a militant participant in the terror organization's internal debate on whether to go along with the demand to disarm.

Now that he is out of the equation, this debate centers for the moment on the immediate issue of retaliation, which could escalate into a resumption of full-scale hostilities across the Israeli-Lebanese border. So, is the ceasefire doomed?
