Regardless of the wisdom or even inevitability of the decision to cut and leave, the images of desperate Afghanis clinging to U.S. Air Force C17 transport Aircraft taking off at Kabul airport have sent a clear message of an American retreat. What repercussions are now expected, regionally and globally?
