The crisis that emerged in Israel with the eruption of the coronavirus has mesmerized the local population to an extent unprecedented, short of all-out military configurations. In contrast to other western societies, where the number of fatalities is must larger; the Jewish State is also dealing with a political deadlock in Jerusalem, and is in a unique position of having to contend with two major crises, at once.
