Struggles of democracies to combat totalitarian regimes

The state of Israel is, of course, the only liberal democracy in the Middle East. Which means that some of its problems are peculiar to its region, but others have to do with the nature of its democratic system. Many other democracies also find themselves in crisis, partly, because they have to contend with totalitarian regimes. What are the challenges, and do any solutions emerge in this regard?

Guests Dr. Fadi Essmaeel, Research Fellow, ICT/IDC, and Dr. Eran Lerman vice president of the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security and a lecturer at Shalem College. Analyst Amir Oren. Host Jonathan Hessen.
