In the past several years, the Islamic State has attracted thousands of foreign fighters and their families from around the world. Now that the governments of Syria and Iraq have announced victory over the extreme Muslim group, questions arise as to what will happen to those foreigners that seek to return – in most of the cases - to their home countries.
