The Middle East, which is plagued with chaos, has become a playing ground for both the United States and Russia – even though not entirely comparable - to try and achieve a domestic perception of superiority, on the one hand, while advancing a regional strategy that would out-maneuver the other and would not grip either of them in an undesired position, which would leave one of them in disadvantage.
Guests: Miss Paula Slier, Russia Today – Middle East Bureau Chief; and Mr. Owen Alterman, Senior Researcher at the Institute for National Security Studies on US Foreign Policy. Analyst Amir Oren.
