Sensitive Issues of the Peace Talks

The move of re-starting the peace negotiations again was received with great skepticism by the Israeli public. In the process, the government had to made decisions, that are hurtful to many of the country's citizens.

The Israeli government decided to release around 100 Palestinian terrorists from Israeli jails, in order to get the Palestinians back to the negotiation table. This news was not received well by families, whose loved ones had died in terrorist attacks. Eliahu Karmani, who lost his son in an attack, tells about the feelings and thoughts that the government's decision stirred up in him.

Alan Baker, an expert in law who has attended his share of peace negotiations,sheds light on the background and current situation of the negotiations. We will also hear how the mayor of the Ma'ale Adumim neighbourhood feels about the E1 area's building being suspended for the time of the peace negotiations.
