The Kurds, whom are estimated at some 34 million people, primarily reside in an area spanning from Western Iran to northern Iraq, from southern Turkey to northern Syria and play a role in both regional conflicts and peaceful resolutions.

During the course of today's program, we will discuss the ethnic group, and their significance to the chaotic region.
