Islam is the most widely followed religion in the Middle East, with some 20% of the religion's population living in the region. A major source of conflict in the Muslim Middle East is the divisive nature between its two main sects: Sunni and Shia.

Today we will discuss the ongoing struggle for power of these two sects and its implication on the region's stability.
