Stalemate in rehabilitation of the Gaza Strip

As the Gaza War, titled by Israel as Operation Protective Edge, came to an end, following a cease-fire brokered by Egypt; the devastation of the Palestinian enclave has left some 100,000 peoples homeless – with an emerging humanitarian crisis at hand.

In an apparent international effort to relieve the strip from growing hardships, and a united international effort to push for the reconstruction of Gaza – a donor conference in Cairo to advance the growing demand resulted in international pledges of some 5.4 billion dollars.

Guests Mr. Khaled Diab – An Egyptian Journalist and Author; and Mr. Owen Alterman – Research Fellow, Institute for National Security Studies. Analyst Mati Shoshani.
