Iran's efforts to manipulate the Media and Public Opinion on its nuclear program

Parallel to its diplomatic engagement with World Powers to try and resolve the nuclear crisis, the Islamic Republic of Iran is engaged in a public campaign to persuade the media and public opinion of its narrative regarding the crisis. A dominant theme in this narrative is Iranian victimization and mistreatment by a so-called bullying-hegemonic-West. Meanwhile, the P5+1 – the United States, Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany – have shown no inclination to directly discredit the narrative or seek to undercut its influence, in which Tehran claims it has done no wrong in the nuclear realm.

Guests Dr. Emily Landau, Co-Author of an Article on the matter published at the Institute for National Security Studies; and Mr. Meir Javedanfar, Iranian Politics Lecturer at IDC Herzliyah.
